John Manga is an assistant coach for the Northeastern University men's soccer program in Boston, Massachusetts, and joined the staff in 2025. He arrived from Georgetown College, where he took over as interim head men's soccer coach in July 2024 and was named the permanent head coach in October 2024. Before that promotion, he had been an assistant coach at Georgetown since April 2021.
Manga previously coached at Seacoast United beginning in 2017 after the end of his professional playing career. As a player, he competed at the University of Cincinnati from 2012 to 2016 and earned First Team All-AAC and Second Team All-Ohio recognition in 2014 after scoring 10 goals with two assists, becoming the program's first player since 2007 to reach double figures in goals. He finished his Cincinnati career with 16 goals and five assists, was selected by the Colorado Rapids in the fourth round of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, and played for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in 2017.
