Joe Muzio is an assistant coach for the University of Maine baseball program in Orono, Maine, joining the staff in fall 2025. Before arriving at Maine, he coached in 2024 with the Amsterdam Mowhawks of the Perfect Game Collegiate League, working primarily with the infielders. He also played professionally for the Utica Unicorns in the United Shore Professional Baseball League, batting .260 with a .416 on-base percentage.
Muzio began his college playing career at Northern Essex Community College and later transferred to Eckerd College and UMass Dartmouth. At UMass Dartmouth, he earned All-Conference honors and became the sixth Division III player to reach base in 65 straight games. He holds a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in organizational leadership.
