Joe Harding enters his 19th season as an assistant coach with the women’s basketball program at Flagler College. Before joining Flagler, he spent a decade coaching girls’ high school basketball in Massachusetts, serving as assistant coach at Easthampton High School from 1997 to 2007, during which time his teams reached the Western Massachusetts Tournament in ten of his last eleven years and he earned the Massachusetts High School Basketball Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year award in 2005.
Harding transitioned into the collegiate coaching ranks when he moved to St. Augustine following a 33-year career in the corporate sector as Vice President of Sales for Hasbro, Inc. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has since been a steady and experienced presence on the Flagler women’s coaching staff.
