Joe Dailey returned to Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, in 2026 as wide receivers coach for the Eagles football program, beginning a second tenure in that position after previously coaching the team's receivers from 2020 to 2021.
Before coming back to Boston College, Dailey was Hampton's passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2024, when the Pirates reached the 400-yard mark on offense five times. He spent 2023 at Kansas as an offensive analyst and was part of a Jayhawks team that finished 9-4, won a bowl game for the program's first postseason victory in 17 years, ranked 17th nationally in scoring at 34.8 points per game, and placed eighth in the country in rushing at 206 yards per game. In 2022 he coached wide receivers for the Carolina Panthers, where D.J. Moore posted 63 receptions, 888 receiving yards and a then-career-best seven touchdown catches, and Carolina closed the year by winning four of its final six games to finish second in the NFC South.
