Jimmy Roesinger is an assistant coach for the West Virginia University baseball program in Morgantown, West Virginia, and joined the Mountaineers' staff in the summer of 2023. In his first two seasons at WVU, the program reached new heights, earning consecutive NCAA Regional bids in 2024 and 2025, advancing to the NCAA Super Regional both years, and winning the 2025 Big 12 regular-season title while setting a school record with 44 victories.
Before arriving at West Virginia, Roesinger spent eight seasons at Air Force, beginning as a volunteer assistant from 2016-19 before moving into a full-time assistant role ahead of the 2020 season. His work there included infield instruction and support with the offense, baserunning, hitting, and recruiting. Air Force won its first Mountain West title in 2022 and made its first NCAA Regional appearance since 1969 that same year, while also establishing program records for wins, hits, home runs, and runs scored. The Falcons followed that with a third-place Mountain West finish in 2023, their best since joining the league, after recording their highest RPI finish and most conference wins in program history in 2021.
