Jill Moore is an assistant coach for the University of Delaware softball program in Newark, Delaware, and joined the Blue Hens staff on August 1, 2025.
In Delaware's first Conference USA season and Moore's first year on staff, the Blue Hens finished 31-24 overall and 17-10 in league play, giving the program a third straight 30-win season for the first time. The team put together an 11-game winning streak in April, a 12-game home winning streak from March 21 to May 1 that ranked as the second longest in school history, and a nine-game conference winning streak from April 2-18 that stood among the program's longest single-season runs. Delaware also reached 40 home runs in consecutive seasons for the first time and posted a notable 12-3, six-inning conference win over Liberty on March 28, the most runs Liberty had allowed in a league game since 2015 and the first time since 2017 that the Flames lost a conference game by at least nine runs.
