Jhad Jones is the assistant coach for sprints, hurdles, and relays for the University at Buffalo men's and women's track and field programs in Buffalo, New York, a position he took before the 2023-24 season. In his first two years with the Bulls, his athletes won three Mid-American Conference titles, recorded five top-three finishes at conference meets, and added 21 performances to the program's all-time top 10 in the sprint and hurdle events.
Before arriving at Buffalo, Jones spent two seasons at Southern Arkansas as assistant coach for sprints, hurdles, and jumps, where the athletes he coached set school records and met NCAA provisional standards. He previously worked at Cal Lutheran, coaching sprinters and hurdlers to two NCAA qualifiers, one All-American honor, and multiple top-10 marks over two seasons.
