Jessica Merchant is Stanford softball's Jessica Mendoza Associate Head Softball Coach and entered her ninth season with the program in 2026. Promoted to associate head coach before the 2020 season, she has played a major role in Stanford's offensive development and recent postseason success.
Merchant helped guide record-setting Stanford offenses, including a 2025 team that set program marks in batting average, hits, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage, and runs scored. She previously coached with Jessica Allister at Minnesota, worked at Massachusetts and Michigan, and was a two-time NFCA All-American at Michigan who helped the Wolverines win the 2005 NCAA championship.
