Jesse Monteiro enters the 2026 season in his third year as a part of the Holy Cross football program, working as the team's secondary coach. In his first season with the Crusaders in 2024, Monteiro helped Holy Cross earn a share of its sixth consecutive Patriot League Championship, with the team posting a 5-1 record in conference play. That season, safeties Curtis Harris-Lopez and Jake Jarmolowich both All-Patriot League second team honors; Holy Cross has sported one of the top defenses in the Patriot League in each of his first two seasons.
