Jesse Duvall serves as Head Cross Country Coach for Arkansas State University's Cross Country program in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Duvall joined the Arkansas State track and field/cross country staff as a volunteer in August 2017, and after spending the next year as a graduate assistant, accepted the head cross country position for the Red Wolves in January 2019. During his tenure, A-State has produced 157 Sun Belt Conference medalists, 42 Sun Belt Conference champions, 13 NCAA West Regional qualifiers, and three All-Americans in the distance events.
The Sun Belt accolades have been highlighted by three SBC High Point Scorers (Bennett Pascoe – 2021, Pauline Meyer – 2023, Jacob Pyeatt – 2025). Duvall’s athletes also hold school records in 19 of the 20 distance events across indoor and outdoor track. The 2021 season was historic for the Red Wolves' distance running. Bennett Pascoe opened the year running a school record in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase and went on to become the first male distance runner in program history to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
