Jermaine Ukaegbu is an assistant coach for the University of Louisville men's basketball program in Louisville, Kentucky, and is entering his third season on Pat Kelsey's staff. He oversees Louisville's defensive approach on the court and also works in player development, scouting, and recruiting.
Ukaegbu's connection with Kelsey dates to his playing days at Winthrop, and he later joined Kelsey's staff there as a graduate assistant. Before arriving at Louisville, he spent three seasons at the College of Charleston as director of player development. During that period, Charleston posted a 75-27 record and won consecutive Coastal Athletic Association regular-season and tournament titles in 2023 and 2024.
