Jenna Slowey is the head coach of the University of Rhode Island women's lacrosse program in Kingston, Rhode Island, and was appointed in July 2022 as the first varsity head coach in team history. Rhode Island announced women's lacrosse in December 2021, with Atlantic 10 competition set to begin in the 2024-25 season, making Slowey the coach selected to launch the program from its start.
Before arriving at Rhode Island, Slowey spent the 2021-22 season at Notre Dame as an assistant coach, serving as offensive coordinator and draw coordinator. That season, the Fighting Irish reached the NCAA Championship field and ranked among the national leaders in several offensive and draw-control categories, including top-25 marks in scoring offense and points per game and top-15 rankings in draw control percentage and draw controls per game. She also coached players who earned All-America recognition, including Kasey Choma and Madison Ahern.
