Jeff Wyshner is the head coach of the Wake Forest women's tennis program in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and is set to begin his 17th season leading the Demon Deacons in 2026-27. He is the winningest head coach in program history, a distinction he secured during the 2025 season when Wake Forest recorded his 192nd victory with a 7-0 win over Elon on Jan. 16, 2025. Later that spring, a victory over No. 30 Clemson on March 30 gave him his 200th win at Wake Forest, making him the first coach in program history to reach that mark.
Across his tenure, Wake Forest has become a consistent NCAA Tournament team. From 2016 through 2025, the Demon Deacons reached nine straight NCAA Tournaments, with the 2020 championship canceled, matching the longest tournament streak in school history and placing Wake Forest among a small group of programs nationally to sustain that run. Over the last several seasons, the team has regularly appeared in the national rankings, won 20 or more matches twice, and posted double-digit victories in 12 consecutive years. Wake Forest players also earned All-America recognition from 2020 through 2022.
