Jeff Poppell was named the new head men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach at South Carolina on Friday, April 9, 2021. He’s the ninth head coach all-time for the men’s program and eighth for the women’s team. Poppell comes to the Gamecocks from the University of Florida, where he was the head women’s swimming and diving coach during the last three seasons.
