Jeff Hourigan is the associate head coach for the University of Connecticut baseball program in Storrs, Connecticut. He joined Jim Penders' staff before the 2012 season and entered his 15th year on the UConn staff in 2026 after previously spending five seasons at the University of New Haven as an assistant coach and pitching coach.
At UConn, Hourigan has worked with the hitters, especially outfielders, and has also served as recruiting coordinator. Since his arrival, 20 UConn position players have been drafted or signed by Major League Baseball organizations, and five of the players he coached earned All-America recognition: LJ Mazzilli, Vinny Siena, Kyler Fedko, Erik Stock, and David Smith. He has been part of a staff identified in the school bio as the longest-tenured coaching group in Division I baseball.
