Jeff Haagenson
offensive coordinator
Jeff Haagenson joined the Laney College football staff in 2013, initially serving as the Offensive Line Coach. In 2015 he was promoted to the role of Co-Offensive Coordinator and now functions as the team’s Offensive Coordinator. During the 2016 campaign, his offensive line helped the Eagles finish first in California in both rushing yards per game and yards per carry — a testament to his effective run-game strategy and line development.
Prior to his tenure at Laney College, Haagenson was the Head Coach at Heritage High School for eight years, where he not only achieved team success but also mentored players who earned scholarships to schools including UCLA, Washington State, Navy and Idaho. Before that he worked as Offensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at Chabot College, and was Head Coach at San Lorenzo High School for four seasons. Academically, Coach Haag holds a BS in Kinesiology from Cal State Hayward (1997) and an MA in Education from National University (2013).
