Jeanine Wasielewski
Assistant Coach, Offensive Coordinator
Jeanine Wasielewski is an accomplished basketball coach currently serving as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator for the Rutgers University women’s basketball program. In this role, she is responsible for guiding the Scarlet Knights’ offensive strategy and working closely with the team’s shooting guards, while also handling offensive analytics. Wasielewski joined the Rutgers staff after coaching with head coach Coquese Washington at Penn State and has been instrumental in developing the Scarlet Knights’ offensive schemes and player performance. During her time at Rutgers, she contributed to several landmark moments for the program, including increased attendance records and individual player achievements, reflecting her keen ability to elevate athletes’ skills and impact on the court.
Before her tenure at Rutgers, Wasielewski revitalized the women’s basketball program at Southwestern Michigan College as head coach, leading an all-freshman squad to an impressive record and postseason play. Her coaching journey also includes key assistant coaching roles at Saint Francis University, Penn State, and Loyola University Chicago, where she helped develop guards, coordinated scouting and recruiting, and implemented advanced analytics. Wasielewski began her collegiate coaching career at MSU Denver and brings a unique perspective combining high-level coaching with executive leadership experience from roles at Molson Coors Brewing Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers. A former four-year letter winner at Northwestern University, she contributed to Big Ten championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, underscoring her lifelong dedication to the sport.
