Jay Vidovich is the head coach of the University of Pittsburgh men's soccer program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and enters his 10th season with the Panthers in 2025. He was hired in December 2015 as the third head coach in program history and has overseen the most successful era the program has experienced, taking Pitt to two College Cup appearances and four national quarterfinal trips in a five-season span.
Vidovich added to his national reputation in 2024 by leading Pitt to the first ACC regular-season championship in school history and another NCAA quarterfinal appearance. The Panthers finished 14-6, went 5-2 in ACC play, earned the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, and went unbeaten against ranked opponents in the regular season. Pitt also produced eight All-ACC selections that year, with defender Casper Svendby being named ACC Defensive Player of the Year, and midfielder Michael Sullivan later selected by Toronto FC in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
