Jay Udwadia serves as Head Coach for University of Arkansas's Men's Tennis program in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Former Razorback men’s tennis standout Jay Udwadia was named the Head Coach of the Arkansas men’s tennis team on June 7, 2022. The Hogs closed the 2024-25 season with an 18-14 record and completed SEC play at 4-10.
Udwadia guided Arkansas to back-to-back 18+ win campaigns for the first time since 1988-89 while earning two top-25 victories (No. 12 Texas A&M, No. 21 Alabama). The Razorbacks collected four ranked wins overall in addition to eight wins over teams in the final ITA rankings. Udwadia led the Hogs to a season-high ranking of No. 29 before ending the year ranked No. 43. In just his second season at the helm, Udwadia led the Razorbacks to a historical 2023-24 season, including a nine-win improvement from the 2022-23 season, the program’s first NCAA Tournament berth since 2021 and the most wins in a season since 1986 (21).
