Jay Lozano is the assistant director of basketball operations for George Mason men's basketball in Fairfax, Virginia. He joined head coach Tony Skinn's staff in 2023 and was elevated to his current position in September 2025 after serving as a graduate assistant during the Patriots' record-setting 2024-25 season.
As a graduate assistant at George Mason, Lozano supervised the program's undergraduate student managers and supported equipment, travel, recruiting, and business operations, while also serving as a liaison for alumni and donor relations. Before arriving at George Mason, he was the head student manager for Xavier's women's basketball program and worked as a camp instructor with the school's men's team.
