Jason Kilby
Head Men's Soccer Coach
Jason Kilby has served as the head men’s soccer coach at the University of Mary Washington (UMW) for 14 seasons, during which time he has steered the Eagles back to national prominence. Under his leadership, UMW has won multiple conference championships and made NCAA Tournament appearances four times in the past five seasons, including a run to the Division III national semifinal in 2022.
Prior to his tenure at UMW, Kilby compiled a standout record at NC Wesleyan College where he posted a 120-43-13 overall mark and a 43-7-6 record in USA South Conference play, including back-to-back undefeated regular seasons in 2006 and 2007. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Frostburg State University and holds both a NSCAA Advanced National License and a USSF “A” License. University of Mary Washington Kilby’s teams at UMW have been known for their defensive strength and national rankings—one season he led the Eagles to a record for fewest losses (one), and the team was ranked as high as #7 nationally.
