Jason Kennedy is the head coach of the Boston College volleyball program in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where he has led the Eagles since 2018. He is the winningest coach in program history and also holds the school record for Atlantic Coast Conference match victories. His tenure has included some of the most successful seasons the program has had, highlighted by a 2022 National Invitation Volleyball Championship title and several milestone years in both overall and conference play.
Kennedy's teams have produced multiple program firsts and record-setting seasons at Boston College. In 2022, the Eagles opened 10-0, the best start in school history, and finished with 24 wins, setting a new single-season program record after the previous high of 20 had been reached in 2004 and again in 2019. That 2022 team also captured the first postseason championship in program history, defeating Drake in the NIVC final after tournament wins over Buffalo, St. John's, Xavier, and Southern Miss. By the end of that season, Kennedy had also moved to the top of the school's career wins list, surpassing former head coach Andrea Leonard's total of 80.
