Jason Borrelli serves as Head Coach for American University's Wrestling program in Washington, District of Columbia.
Jason Borrelli finished his fifth season as the head coach of American University wrestling in 2025-26, leading a resurgence of the program that’s seen 36 duals wins, two EIWA champions, three NCAA qualifiers, amongst several other team and individual achievements. Borrelli and his staff sent three wrestlers to the NCAA Championships in March 2026, the most in program history since 2020: graduate senior Maximilian Leete (133), redshirt junior Caleb Campos (184), and redshirt sophomore Emmanuel Ulrich (HWT). Campos became AU’s first All-American since 2016 after a 6-2 showing at NCAAs, and the Eagles finished 23rd in team scoring–the program’s highest finish since 2012.
