Jashon Cornell is a Defensive Analyst for Boston College football in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, beginning his first season with the program. He came to Boston College after serving as a defensive assistant at Texas Southern, where he worked with the defensive line.
Cornell previously played three seasons with the Detroit Lions after being selected in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. At Ohio State, he was part of three Big Ten championship teams and appeared in 46 games with 15 starts, recording 65 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles. He earned degrees in consumer finance and hospitality management from Ohio State and completed an MBA at the University of Texas in May 2026.
