Jarred Brookins is the Wicks-Street Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Oregon State University, where he joined the program in 2023 and quickly contributed to one of the most successful stretches in school history. In his first season, he helped guide the Beavers to an NCAA Tournament run that culminated in a College Cup appearance, finishing with an 11-6-5 record and a No. 4 national ranking—the highest postseason ranking in program history. Oregon State continued its success in 2024, earning another NCAA Tournament berth and posting a 10-5-3 record, highlighted by a strong home performance and an extended unbeaten streak. Under his leadership, the program has developed high-level talent, producing multiple All-Americans and MLS SuperDraft selections, including top first-round picks.
Before arriving in Corvallis, Brookins built a strong coaching résumé with collegiate and club experience. He spent two seasons at Davidson, contributing to player development and competitive success in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Prior to that, he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Mercer, where he helped lead the team to an NCAA Tournament appearance and was part of a conference coaching staff of the year. Brookins also gained valuable experience in youth development with Vestavia Hills Soccer Club, helping guide teams to multiple state championships. A former collegiate player at Birmingham-Southern College, where he was a team captain, Brookins brings a well-rounded perspective to coaching, emphasizing player development, recruiting, and competitive excellence.
