Jamie Peterson is the head coach of the Towson University women's tennis program in Towson, Maryland, and completed his 10th season leading the Tigers in 2025-26. He first took charge as interim head coach in 2016-17, was formally appointed before the 2017-18 season, and previously spent two years as an assistant at Towson from 2014 to 2016.
By the end of the 2025-26 season, Peterson had accumulated 85 coaching wins, the third-highest total in program history. He moved into third place with a victory over Georgetown on February 20, 2026, passing Doug Neagle and trailing only Ken Volk and Peter Walten on Towson's all-time list. The 2025-26 team finished 10-10, the program's first .500 season since 2018-19. That season also included strong individual performances from Gaia Montecchi and Ashira Murray in singles, conference player-of-the-week recognition for Murray, and doubles team-of-the-week honors for Chandrè Boshoff and Kiersten Tambe, giving Towson multiple conference weekly award winners in the same season for the first time since 2016.
