Jamie Clark has served as the head coach of the University of Washington men’s soccer program since 2011, transforming the Huskies into one of the nation’s elite programs. Over 15 seasons, Clark has compiled an impressive record of sustained success, including multiple conference titles, consistent NCAA Tournament appearances, and the program’s first-ever national championship in 2025. Under his leadership, Washington has made five NCAA Quarterfinal appearances and reached the College Cup Finals twice, establishing itself as a perennial contender on the national stage. Known for his ability to develop talent, Clark has coached numerous All-Americans and helped dozens of players advance to professional careers in Major League Soccer.
Before arriving in Seattle, Clark built a strong coaching résumé with successful stints at Harvard and Creighton, leading both programs to NCAA Tournament appearances. His coaching career began with assistant roles at Notre Dame and New Mexico, where he contributed to deep postseason runs, including a national championship appearance. A former All-American player at Stanford, Clark brings a deep understanding of the game and a player-centered coaching philosophy.
