Jamie Baker is the pitching coach for Towson University softball in Towson, Maryland. He joined Towson after serving as head coach at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, where he won an OCAA championship in his first season and added another in 2024, when Durham also captured its first CCSA national title.
Baker began coaching at Durham in 2013 as a volunteer and became the team's pitching coach in 2014. As an assistant, he was part of four straight OCAA championship teams from 2015 to 2018. At Durham, six pitchers earned OCAA All-Star and/or OCAA Championship All-Star recognition. He graduated from Durham with a Sports Administration Diploma, has coached U19 and U17 club softball since 2021, has been an assistant with Canada's Junior Women's National Team since 2023, and had an 18-year fastpitch playing career with multiple Ontario titles and four national medals.
