Jamey Mosley is Stanford football's defensive line coach after five seasons on Alabama's defensive staff. A former Crimson Tide walk-on who became a contributor on Alabama's 2017 national championship defense, he worked primarily with the defensive line as a graduate assistant and analyst.
At Alabama, Mosley contributed to defensive fronts that ranked highly in sacks, total defense, scoring defense, and tackles for loss, while several linemen developed into NFL draft picks. He played linebacker at Alabama from 2014 to 2018, later spent time with the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals, and comes from a football family that includes his brother, NFL linebacker C.J. Mosley.
