James Lenahan is an assistant football coach at Fordham University in Bronx, New York, and enters his ninth season on the staff in 2026.
Lenahan joined Fordham in March 2018. He began by coaching the inside linebackers in 2018, then worked with the safeties in 2019. After spending his first two seasons on defense, he shifted to the offensive side in 2020 to coach the running backs. He returned to defense in 2021, coached the cornerbacks for two seasons, and moved back to the safeties for the 2024 season.
