Jalen Ortiz serves as Cornerbacks for Arkansas State University's Football program in Jonesboro, Arkansas. 2024: (Utah State) Ortiz spent one season at Utah State as the cornerbacks coach. In his time with the Aggies, he helped the defense rank 36th nationally with 13 total interceptions.
Under his direction, cornerback DJ Graham II was an All-Mountain West pick after posting 42 tackles, three forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions. 2022-23: (Nevada) Served as the cornerbacks coach for two seasons at Nevada. In 2023, the cornerbacks unit helped the Wolf Pack rank 15th nationally with three defensive touchdowns. In his first season at Nevada, two starting corners ranked inside the top seven on the team in tackles.
