Jakov Belamaric serves as an assistant coach for California men's water polo. His first season on the Cal staff came in 2022, when the Golden Bears won a national championship and posted their highest winning percentage in 30 years.
Before joining Cal, Belamaric coached at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego and worked at the club level with Del Mar WPC and Northwood WPC. He played collegiately at Concordia from 2011-14, spent time in the Croatian National Team program, and earned gold at the 2008 European World Cup before completing his business administration and management degree at Concordia in 2015.
