Jackson Wedgeworth

Jackson Wedgeworth serves as Assistant Coach for the UAB men’s golf program, contributing to player development, recruiting, and day-to-day program operations. As part of head coach Charlie Hoyle’s staff, Wedgeworth works closely with the Blazers’ student-athletes on skill refinement, tournament preparation, and competitive strategy. His role supports UAB’s continued pursuit of conference success and NCAA postseason appearances, building on the program’s strong tradition of regional and national competition. A former collegiate golfer, Wedgeworth brings firsthand competitive experience to his coaching position. His background includes high-level tournament play and a deep understanding of the technical and mental aspects of the game. Known for his attention to detail and relationship-building approach, he plays an integral part in mentoring student-athletes both on and off the course. Through recruiting efforts and player development initiatives, Wedgeworth helps position UAB men’s golf for sustained growth and competitive excellence.
