Jackie Moore
Assistant Coach
Jackie Moore, a native of Panama City, Florida, has over 20 years of coaching experience and joined the Florida Gators in 2022. Initially coming on as “Assistant to the Head Coach,” she was promoted in May 2023 to a formal Assistant Coach role on Kelly Rae Finley’s staff. Before Florida, she spent a decade at Arizona State University (ASU), the final five years as Associate Head Coach. While at ASU, Moore played a central role in the team’s recruiting and perimeter player development, contributing to a stretch of seven straight 20-win seasons (2014-20), six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, and a share of the 2016 Pac-12 regular season title.
Earlier in her career, Moore was an assistant at Nevada (as recruiting coordinator), Miami (Florida), Boston College, and UMass. She was also head coach at Santa Fe Community College (Gainesville, FL) for six seasons, and played guard at Armstrong State (her alma mater), where she earned her B.A. in Psychology; she also holds a master’s in Health Science from Georgia Southern
