Jacey Smith serves as Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for University of Tulsa's Volleyball program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Smith joined the Golden Hurricane volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in January 2023. Smith has helped coach Tulsa to 61 wins and two postseason appearances in her three seasons at TU.
She also serves as the recruiting coordinator for the team and has helped coach three AVCA All-Region players, one AVCA All-American, one Academic All-American, one American Conference Setter of the Year, one American Libero of the Year, one American Freshman of the Year, five First Team All-Conference student-athletes, two All-Freshmen and 11 CSC Academic All-District award winners. Two players (Kayley Cassaday and Marta Pecalli) have gone pro since Smith’s arrival. Smith joins Tulsa after a one-year stint as a volunteer assistant coach at Kansas State, where she helped the Wildcats finish the 2022 season atop the Big 12 in service aces (183). K-State also finished in the top half of the league in digs (1,571), digs per set (14.28), service aces per set (1.66), blocks (285), blocks per set (2.59), points (1,831) and points per set (16.65).
