Hunter MacKay serves as Tight Ends/Passing Game Coordinator for East Carolina University's Football program in Greenville, North Carolina.
Hunter MacKay is in his third year as the tight ends coach at East Carolina, a position he officially began on Dec. Prior to the start of the 2026 spring semester, he was named the passing game coordinator. In his second season, his tight end group averaged 13.6 yards per reception catching 51 passes for 695 yards which included five touchdowns.
