Hannah Luckett
Head Coach
Hannah Luckett was named Head Coach of the UNC Pembroke women’s golf program in May 2021, bringing prior head and associate coaching experience to the Braves’ program. A celebrated NCAA Division II student-athlete at Limestone College from 2012–16, Luckett earned four all-conference honors, three conference tournament all-tournament selections and served three years as team captain. During her playing career she compiled a 78.62 stroke average across 79 rounds and logged 17 top-10 finishes while helping Limestone capture three straight conference championships.
As a coach, she served as assistant/associate head coach at Limestone and then at Newberry College, where she helped lead the program to 13 top-5 finishes over four seasons, including two tournament victories and a .723 win percentage during the 2018-19 season. Since arriving at UNC Pembroke, Luckett has made an immediate impact. In her first season she was named Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year after leading the Braves to the conference tournament championship and the automatic berth to the NCAA Southeast Region Tournament. In her second year, she repeated as Coach of the Year while the team again claimed the conference tournament title. Her leadership emphasizes competitive readiness, mental preparation, and a culture of confidence among her student-athletes.
