Hana Haden was named the 14th head coach of the women's basketball program on March 26, 2026. The 2026 Sun Belt Coach of the Year, Haden joined the Tigers from Georgia Southern where she went 23-8 and 16-2 in conference play. Despite being picked 10th in the preseason coaches’ poll, the Eagles captured their first regular season title in 25 seasons, earning a bid to the WBIT.
