Griffin Joiner is an assistant softball coach at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, where she has served on Holly Aprile's staff since August 2018 and works primarily with the pitching staff and catchers.
In six seasons at Louisville, Joiner has been part of teams that reached two NCAA Regionals, advancing to the regional final in Evanston in 2019 and returning to postseason play in Knoxville in 2023. Louisville also produced two NFCA All-Americans during her tenure, including pitcher/designated player Taylor Roby, a second-team selection in 2023. The program recorded nine All-Southeast Region honors in that span, with Roby earning the distinction three times and Megan Hensley becoming Louisville's first first-team all-region selection since the Cardinals moved into the region in 2019. Louisville also placed 14 student-athletes on All-ACC teams across those six seasons, and catcher Sarah Gordon became the program's first ACC Freshman of the Year in 2023.
