Greg Manning Jr. is an assistant coach for the Villanova University men's basketball program in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and completed his first season with the Wildcats in 2025-26. That season also marked his fourth working under head coach Kevin Willard, as Villanova finished 24-9 and reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021-22.
Before arriving at Villanova, Manning spent seven seasons on the staff at Maryland. He was part of a 2024-25 team that went 27-9, finished second in the Big Ten, and won two NCAA Tournament games. Across his time with the Terrapins, Maryland positioned itself for five NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2019-20 season, when the program won its first Big Ten championship since joining the conference and was expected to reach the NCAA Tournament before the postseason was canceled because of the pandemic. Maryland also advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in three other seasons during his tenure.
