Greg Langan
Assistant Coach
Greg Langan is in his 25th season as an assistant coach for the Stockton University women’s volleyball program, where he has played a key role in the Ospreys’ sustained success over a quarter-century. During his tenure, Stockton has compiled 589 match victories and claimed 12 New Jersey Athletic Conference championships, with Langan’s expertise in all facets of volleyball contributing significantly to the program’s competitive excellence and consistent winning culture.
Before and alongside his coaching career, Langan has been an accomplished club volleyball player at both regional and national levels. In 2018, his team captured the gold medal at the US Open in Dallas and finished fifth overall in the world. He also earned gold medals in the 2018 Senior Olympics state championships in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Langan’s competitive résumé includes a silver medal at the 2013 U.S. Open National Championships in Louisville and a bronze medal at the 2010 U.S. Open in Phoenix and the Huntsman World Senior Games in St. George, Utah. Additionally, he served on the volleyball security team during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. A retired lieutenant from a 28-year career with the New Jersey State Park Police, Langan resides in Millville, N.J., with his wife Sandy and their daughters, Emily and Becky.
