Greg Guilliams
Head Baseball Coach
Greg Guilliams began his tenure as head baseball coach at Flagler College in the 2025 season, bringing with him a remarkable 35-year coaching career marked by sustained success and high standards of excellence. Prior to joining Flagler, he spent 17 seasons (2008-24) at Valdosta State University, during which time his teams claimed Gulf South Conference titles, produced multiple all-conference and All-America players, and earned several NCAA tournament appearances. Before his time at Valdosta State, Guilliams spent 16 years (1992-2007) leading the baseball program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he oversaw 11 NAIA Tournament appearances, six World Series appearances, and built a culture of pitching and defensive excellence.
At Flagler, Guilliams wasted no time making an impact: in his first season, the Saints posted a 30-20 overall record and a 13-14 mark in the Peach Belt Conference, with his team leading the league in earned run average (3.74) and stolen bases (128). Guilliams holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and History from Ohio Dominican College (1984), where he was a three-time NAIA All-American player and inaugural hall-of-fame inductee.His coaching philosophy emphasizes the three pillars of energy, discipline, and resolve — traits he has instilled in his teams throughout his coaching journey.
