Gregg Gottlieb is an Assistant Coach for San Diego State Women's Basketball. He joined Stacie Terry-Hutson's staff before the 2023-24 season with more than 30 years of college coaching experience, including an earlier eight-year stint with the San Diego State men's program under Steve Fisher. Since his return to The Mesa, the Aztecs have won 20-plus games each season, captured two Mountain West championships, and produced some of the program's top scoring teams.
Gottlieb's coaching background includes stops at Grand Canyon, Oregon State, California, San Diego State, Sacramento State, and Cal Poly. He helped Grand Canyon build an efficient and balanced offense, contributed to Oregon State's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 25 years, and has coached high-level players including Gary Payton II and Drew Eubanks during a career that has largely centered on West Coast college basketball.
