Greg Gattuso is the associate head coach for defense at Duquesne University football in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, returning to the Dukes after a distinguished career that has included head coaching roles at both the FCS and Division I-AA levels.
Gattuso rejoined Duquesne 21 seasons after completing a 12-year run as the program's head coach from 1993 to 2004. He was the first head coach of Duquesne's FCS era and oversaw the program's move from Division III to Division I-AA, now known as the FCS. His teams went 97-32 overall and won eight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships. He was named MAAC Coach of the Year seven times and earned Don Hansen's Football Gazette I-AA Mid-Major National Coach of the Year honors in 1995 and 2003. His 2003 team finished as the consensus I-AA Mid-Major national champion, and that squad was later inducted into the Duquesne Athletics Hall of Fame.
