Greg Brown is The Schiller Family Head Hockey Coach for Boston College men's ice hockey in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, a position he assumed on May 6, 2022. A former Boston College All-American defenseman, Brown became only the fifth head coach of the program since 1932 after returning to the Heights following coaching stops in the NHL and USHL.
Brown previously spent 14 seasons on Jerry York's staff at Boston College from 2004 to 2018, first as an assistant coach and later as associate head coach after the Eagles won the 2012 NCAA championship. During his time on the BC bench, the program won national titles in 2008, 2010, and 2012, along with six Hockey East Tournament championships, seven Hockey East regular-season titles, 11 NCAA Tournament berths, and seven Frozen Four appearances. He also served as an assistant coach for the United States at three IIHF World Junior Championships.
