Grace Perechinsky is an assistant softball coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, Massachusetts, and is scheduled to enter her third season with the program in 2027. Before arriving at UMass, she spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Jacksonville University, where she completed a master's degree in business administration and was part of a staff that recorded 51 wins, including the program's first winning season since 2021.
Perechinsky played collegiately at St. Bonaventure, where she was a four-year starting catcher and first baseman. She opened her career with a .348 batting average, 13 doubles, and 27 RBIs, earned Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors, and finished with 161 starts, 115 hits, 15 home runs, 75 RBIs, and a 97.2 percent fielding percentage. She also represented Russia on the national team beginning in 2021, competing in the European Championship and helping the team win bronze at the European Cup. At UMass, the program improved its batting average and reduced errors each season from 2024 to 2026, while posting its best fielding percentage since 2019 in 2026.
