Grace Hollowell is the head coach of women's rowing at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and is entering her seventh year leading the program. She joined Boston College as an assistant coach in fall 2018 and was promoted to head coach in fall 2019. In her first season in charge, she led the Eagles to three top-12 finishes at the Head of the Charles and welcomed an 11-member class of 2024 before the 2020 spring season was canceled because of Covid-19.
Under Hollowell, Boston College posted notable results in 2022 and 2023. The Eagles earned medals at the Head of the Charles in the Champ 4+ and Club 4+, then followed with three cup victories in the fall. At the 2023 ACC Championship, Boston College's 2V4+ reached the Grand Final and finished fifth, matching the best result in program history. The team also ended that season with more than 40 CRCA Scholar Athletes, four All-ACC selections, and the Academic Advisor Award winner.
