Giselle Juarez-Presley is an assistant coach for the University of Connecticut softball program in Storrs, Connecticut, and enters her second season as the Huskies' pitching coach in 2026 after joining the staff in June 2024. In her first year at UConn, she oversaw a pitching staff that recorded a 4.37 ERA and more than 200 strikeouts in 54 games while the Huskies won their first BIG EAST Tournament championship since 2001. Two pitchers reached double-digit wins, with Payton Kinney earning All-BIG EAST First Team and NFCA All-Region Second Team recognition, and Kinney was later named the BIG EAST Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
Before arriving at UConn, Juarez-Presley was a graduate assistant at Oklahoma, where she was part of four straight national championships, and she also worked as an assistant coach for the Birmingham Thunderbolts from 2022 to 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma in 2021 after spending three seasons with the Sooners under Patty Gasso. As a player, she helped Oklahoma win the 2021 national title and was named the Women's College World Series Most Outstanding Player that year. She began her college career at Arizona State in 2017, transferred to Oklahoma after her sophomore season in 2019, and was a two-time NFCA First Team All-American as well as the 2019 Big 12 Pitcher of the Year.
