Gage Hayes was hired as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of New Hampshire football program in Durham, New Hampshire, in February 2026 after building experience across multiple levels of college football.
Hayes began coaching at Southeastern University, where he served as a graduate assistant in 2014 and 2015 and worked with the defensive backs. He then moved to Bryant University, where his 2016 wide receiver group set school records for receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches. At Erskine College, he was part of the startup program in 2021, coached All-American and Harlon Hill nominee Senika McKie, helped develop two Division II quarterbacks who ranked in the Top 25 nationally in completion percentage, and recruited more than 70 players for the program's first two seasons.
