Gabe Kleinert has served as an assistant coach for Duquesne University's women's soccer program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, since February 2025. He arrived at Duquesne after three seasons as an assistant coach at the University at Albany, where his responsibilities included scouting, recruiting, travel coordination, academic progress, and community outreach.
Before joining Albany, Kleinert spent three years at the University of Rochester from 2019 to 2022. He worked two seasons as an assistant coach and then led the program as interim head coach in 2021, when Rochester posted a 6-5-5 record. Five of the team's draws that season came against opponents ranked between No. 3 and No. 21 in NCAA Division III.
